Awel yr Awen

'Breeze of the Muse'

Camping holidays on a beautiful, organic Welsh farm and poet's paradise

Be among the first to camp at the farm where poet Dylan Thomas once lived with his wife Caitlin in the Aeron valley. Brand new campsite, just open.

Awel yr Awen Campsite, at Gelly

Meadow Camping steeped in nature on a sheltered organic farm just six miles from the coast in beautiful Ceredigion.

Opening in 2021 with just five pitches, including one glamping Bell-tent, Awel yr Awen offers a relaxing, low-impact, back-to-nature getaway for couples, friend groups and families.

The generous pitches are set in their own unique pockets of wilderness, just far enough away but close enough to be social if and when you choose. You will have your own 'en-suite' eco-toilet, low-impact eco-shower and campfire.

The site is within easy reach of at least 10 beaches in Cardigan Bay, and also close to Tregaron, Devil’s Bridge and the wild Cambrian Mountains.
