Awel yr Awen

Or 'Breath of the Muse' in English

Camping and Glamping

on the lush farm where poet Dylan Thomas lived during WWII.

An atmosphere of tranquility, far removed from the hustle and bustle;

rest and recuperate here and let the children run free..

This Meadow Campsite is gloriously peaceful - on a historic farm just 8 miles from the coast in beautiful Ceredigion.

  • only 8 pitches, including 2 glamping with bell-tents

  • suitable for families, friends, couples or solo campers

  • pitches set in their own unique pockets of wilderness

  • campfire in each pitch

  • Eco-toilets and off-grid hot showers

  • Fridge freezer and electric sockets available

  • easily accessible by car

  • free parking

The site is within easy reach of around 10 beaches in Cardigan Bay, and also close to Tregaron, Devil’s Bridge and the wild Cambrian Mountains.

Just off the main road this site was super easy to access... had a lovely welcome and pitched up on a semi woodland site facing a glorious meadow and view. A limited number of pitches guarantee a small site experience which is very valuable to many.

Got a tour of the facilities which include showers and toilets and access to electricity and fridge freezer. Showers and toilets are comfortably close to the pitches. Showers lovely and warm and have private changing area.. My pitch had a firepit and you can buy firewood from the site if needed. All in all a fab stay in a perfect location... safe, quiet and secluded and coast and country easily accessible. Lucky find for me!!! Good luck for the future Awel yr Awen!!! :)
