What to expect

Toilets

There are two eco compost toilets near the showers.

Owl pitch (glamping unit) has its own 'en-suite' eco-toilet.

An 'en suite' toilet tent is available for your pitch on request.

Hot Showers

Shower in comfort in these spacious, rustic, off-grid gas showers.

Fire Pits

Campfires encouraged!

Fire is elemental. At Awel yr Awen, we believe no camping experience is complete without one, so we have given every pitch its own stone firepit, with grill so you can cook on the fire if you choose. Firewood is available for purchase onsite.

Please note that fires are lit at our discretion and to ensure safety of all campers, during intense heatwaves or drought fires may not be permitted.

Electricity

Fridge/freezer and mobile device charging

The Campers' Cabin in the farmyard provides access to a shared fridge/freezer and plenty of sockets for charging your devices.

Vehicle Access

Unload at the pitch then park in the farmyard

Provided the weather is dry enough and the ground is hard, cars can be driven right up to your pitch for unloading, and then parked in allocated spaces in the farmyard a short distance from the field. If the track is unusable for whatever reason, wheelbarrows will be provided.

There are two sinks in the camping field, supplying cold water and washing-up facilities for all your needs.

Bikers

Our Bell Tent pitches are perfect for those travelling light.

'Biker packs' are available with essential mugs, plates, kettle etc
